Lenape Park Project
The Borough is designing a neighborhood park to serve its residents. U
nder the auspices of the New Hope Borough Revitalization Committee,
an open public process will ensure that all stakeholders in the project are given a voice.
This will ensure that the final design solution for the park is truly shaped and
created by and for the residents of the Borough.
The park is located at the intersections of West Bridge and West Ferry Streets with
Stockton Avenue. The design is to be reflective of a residential scale space,
providing serenity, security and safety for all its users.
The final design will be a park that is a “reward” for the residents of the Borough.

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve (BHWP) showcases an extraordinary diversity of plants native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley region. The Preserve focuses exclusively on native plants, in distinction from botanical gardens that may include natives in their collections.
Hours: Open daily (seven days a week) year-round. (Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.) The grounds are open from 8:30 a.m. to sunset, and the Visitor Center and Twinleaf Shop are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Silver Lake Park

This 235-acre complex is unique to Pennsylvania in that it harbors the best-protected Coastal Plain Forest left in the state. It is part of the 460-acre park and Silver Lake which is the terminus of the Mill Creek, Queen Anne Creek, and the Black Ditch Creek Watershed.
The main building houses a multipurpose auditorium, exhibit room depicting that which is unique to the park, offices, the Barnswallow Gift Shop, and a reference library. Immediately outside the building is a large meadow. Nearby, a 60-person amphitheater is designed for campfires and shows.

Stover-Myers Mill Park

Stover-Myers Mill, which comprises 26 acres along the Tohickon Creek in Bedmnster Township on Dark Hollow Road and the creek in Pipersville. Originally, this mill started as a water-powered gristmill/sawmill and was later powered by steam. Owned by Jacob Stover in the early 1800's, the Stover-Myers Mill produced flour and animal feed for regional and local consumption.

Tyler State Park consists of 1,711 acres in Bucks County. Park roads, trails, and facilities are carefully nestled within the original farm and woodland setting. Neshaminy Creek meanders through the park, dividing the land into several interesting sections.

Washington Crossing Historic Park

Washington Crossing Historic Park was founded in 1917 to perpetuate and preserve the site from which the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River. This purpose is achieved by interpreting the historical significance of this site for thousands of Park visitors each year through tours, exhibits and various special events. The spirit of the 1776 Crossing is recreated every year on Christmas Day when the annual reenactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware takes place on December 25. In this annual reenactment the visitor can see reenactors in Continental military dress cross the river in the replica Durham boats.
